Dustin Johnson - The Five Month Masters Champion?

What a treat it was to have the US Masters to look forward to this November! I enjoyed it so much!

In a strange year - and although The Masters with no crowds or blooms lacked a little something - it was full of awesome golf and really brightened up my lockdown November.

Despite a short a 5-month reign - I don't think Dustin Johnson will mind too much. He now has his second major championship and a coveted green jacket! Another reason is that he is at the peak of his game which suggests to me that he will be the man to beat in April.

He took the Augusta National apart with a record 20-under par total which included only 4 single bogies in the four rounds. This while at times so many others seemed to struggle. Tiger Woods had a very good defence considering how little he is able to play.

What was even better was how he responded after taking 10 shots on the par 3 12th on Sunday! He then birdied 5 of the last 6 holes to get back to 1-under par for the tournament!

The great news is we only have 5 months to wait until the next one!
